Wednesday Weekend Recap

We spent the weekend in North Georgia at two fun events.  The weather was perfect at Lake Lanier Islands for a day-long session with the children of the 5th Ranger Training Battalion and facilitated by Chaplain Lawhorn.  Kairah and Payton did an awesome job keeping the kids busy all day while their parents were in session. On Saturday, we made our way up to Dahlonega to Montaluce Winery and Estates. This is our second wedding at Montaluce in the last two {Read More}

Wednesday Weekend Recap

Spring is almost here and I am SO ready for warmer temps and fun in the sun! The daylight savings time is a bit of an adjustment though. This past weekend we had an event in the D.C. area, still pretty chilly up there and but the cold weather did not keep the kids away.  As a matter of fact, 26 kids braved the cold and attended the Chang-Ramos wedding held at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, VA.  The {Read More}

Wednesday Weekend Recap

I hope that you all had a relaxing holiday. We kept the kids busy with some outdoor play and a movie.  They have quite a lovely group of kids that we {Read More}

As you all know there is plenty of drinking going on in the reception, but what happens at the end of the night when the party is over {Read More}

{Love} This Wedding!

Vinewood {Newnan, Georgia}

If  you haven’t been to Vinewood, you’re really missing out.  It’s an absolutely gorgeous property with the Main House decked out in fabulous antique furniture and I am so jealous of the kitchen in this place.  The Stables is my favorite part of the venue with floors covered in sawdust and the vintage farm tables. After sitting quietly during the wedding ceremony, kids want to burn off some of that energy.   The Stables at Vinewood is the perfect outdoor play {Read More}

I am so happy to be mentioned in the July issue of Brides Magazine!  There is an awesome section on kids and weddings.

Kids at the Royal Wedding

  There is no denying the the union of William and Catherine was breathtaking. While watching the live broadcast this morning with my daughter I took note of the children in attendance. Most brides wonder how well behaved the children will be during a 30 minute ceremony. I can only imagine attemding a ceremony as long as the Royals with kids in tow, not to mention all of the kids outside of the church that arrived before daybreak to get a glimpse {Read More}
